3-Iron, Kim Ki-duk, 2004, 87min

In the context of our research on the selfie subject we would like to propose you movie which tells the story of Tae-suk, a loner who drives around on his motorbike, taping takeout menus over the keyholes of front doors and breaking into empty apartments where the menus have not been removed thus the owners away. One day he brakes into a luxury house where, not aware of being observed, he follows his habitual actions, finally bumping into Sun-hwa, the abused wife of the owner, with whom he will escape and continue visiting others houses. One of the recurrent actions Tae-suk does in each place he visits is taking a selfie with a camera in front of portraits of people living in the house.
